Regarding the Weather Modification Operation (OMC), he expressed a view in line with the Acting Jakarta Governor Teguh Setyabudi.
Even though, OMC was deemed effective in reducing flooding due to the high potential for rainfall, this effort required a significant budget.
"If the situation is urgent, OMC is a good idea but it will consume more budget," he explained.
As reported earlier, the Acting Governor stated that the Jakarta Government has no plans to implement OMC at this time.
It would be implemented if deemed necessary and based on existing evaluations and data.
